UFC is back in Sweden, Gustafsson’s native land. Besides an interesting main event the rest of the card mainly consists of low profile fighters. I see some solid betting opportunities for this card. From an entertainment perspective I would say this seems to be one of the weaker cards.
Alexander Gustafsson vs Glover Teixeira
I thought -210 for Gustafsson was a terrific line but since then the line has gone in the wrong direction and now it’s at -275. I got money in early but I don’t suggest people to jump on -275 since that’s too much juice in my humble opinion. That said, this is Gustafsson’s fight to win. He has a massive age and reach advantage. Glover’s slow plodding style is not going work well against a striker like Alexander.
Ben Saunders vs Peter Sobotta
Saunders is back in the UFC and I have to say he’s worth backing hear at almost even money. I’m surprised the line hasn’t crashed by now, for whatever reason the market has faith in Sobotta. It’s basically a coin flip match in the eyes of the bookies but I personally cap Saunders as a moderate favorite.
Nordine Taleb vs Oliver Enkamp
Oliver Enkamp is a big unknown here but from watching his fights, he seems to be struggling against aggressive fighters. Taleb does have a solid record of finishing his opponents and I think +194 Taleb Inside distance at 5dimes is one of the best prop bets you can make for this card. However, be careful with your sizing.
Chris Camozzi vs Trevor Smith
Both these guys seems to be one or two fights away from being cut. Trevor Smith is getting a bit too old and as much as I would like to bet on an underdog I think Camozzi is going to win here relatively easy. Even at -170 I recommend placing some money on him.
